Whew, we survived the Pandemic and I think it’s safe to say we’re all prepared to face challenges better in the future. What did I learn durning the past 3 years?

First, I learned we all need to be ready to rally rather than divide. If we’ve learned anything from this, we are all vulnerable to falling into the vortex of negativity that comes from social media and the news. We all need to remember that we are one nation, undivided and it is through our unity that we find strength. United we stand – divided we fall. Love your neighbor as yourself! Think the best of others, especially those you know. Lift up those who fall and encourage those who are discouraged.

Second, I learned that we are strong and resilient! The bounce-back of business that has happened in the last 9 months has been amazing! I have received SO many calls from people who need a logo because they’re starting a new business. I think the shut down caused many people to re-evaluate their lives and careers and many decided to take the plunge and start a business! The courage and discipline that venturing out on your own takes a massive leap of faith and courage.

Lastly, I learned that I’m happiest out in the workplace and world, rather than at my home/office. I’m an extrovert who feeds off the energy of others. My mind is better and my graphic design work is better when I’m around other creative people. I love my new co-work space called Comradery! It’s just behind where Greenville is building the new Unity Park. It’s been amazing to see all of the development around this office over the past 2 years. We are all meant to collaborate with others, cohabitate with others in order to love others. Walking past someone and being able to smile openly at them is something I don’t think I’ll ever take for granted again.
